The preset break regulations correspond to the statutory break regulations in your respective country and state. However, you can create your own break regulations individually and assign them to the right employee. To do this, go to Settings > Attendance & Leave > Break Regulations.
TimeTrack can automatically deduct your breaks so you don’t have to worry about clocking out and clocking in when you take a break. If you do so anyway, the system will recognize the times when you are not clocked in as a break and deduct the open break time, according to the regulations you set.
You can also change the automatic deduction of the break time under the Break Regulation Settings by removing the checkmark from the “Substract Break Automatically” box.
When tracking project hours, if the system does not detect a break between two time entries, it will always subtract the break from the entry in which the break should occur.
If you or your employees do not comply with the break regulations, a warning will appear in the timesheet on the days on which this was the case.
The working time regulation defines the maximum number of hours that can be worked in a day, in a week and how many days at a stretch. The legal regulations are already stored by TimeTrack, but you have the option to customize and individualize them.
