In TimeTrack, you have the option to mark a user as an “External”. This can be set in the employee’s user profile under Data Administration > Users.
You can assign permissions to this employee just like any other employee. However, a user marked as an “External” differs from a regular user in that they can only see the assigned projects and clients.
When you create an external employee, you must assign them to specific projects. Under Data Administration > Projects > Enable Project Visibility, you can activate project assignment and define project managers and project employees. This ensures that internal client and project data remain invisible to the external employee.
In the mobile apps and the web app, only assigned projects and clients will be visible to the external employee.
