Text snippets function as shortcuts for frequently recurring notes, so you don’t have to retype them each time.
Under Data Administration > Text Blocks, you can create a new text block by clicking the “Add Text Block” button. Enter the keyword and (optionally) an alternative keyword, the content, and any internal notes if necessary.
You can configure the visibility to determine whether other users in your account can see/use this text block. For example, you can create a text block with the code 11 to avoid repeatedly typing “Please refer to the attached invoice.”
Once you’ve created your text block under Data Administration, you can assign it to time entries and expenses. When creating a new time entry or expense, click on the icon with overlapping pages in the notes field. Enter the code or text into the search box to automatically add the note, or select a text block from the list. Click Save when you’re finished.
This way, time entries and expenses will be tagged with these text blocks. Later, you can filter time entries and expenses in reports and analyses using these blocks or add them to the invoice.
