In your TimeTrack account, you can enable the dashboard. The dashboard is a tool that allows you to visualize the most important data in the system at a glance. You can add various widgets to the dashboard that display data from different modules.
The following widgets can be placed on your dashboard: Status Overview, Absence Requests, Project Times and Timesheet Overview.
To enable the dashboard in your account, assign yourself the menu template that includes the “Dashboard” option. You can find this setting under Settings > General > Setup > Menu Options in Webb App. Create a new template by clicking the “Create New Template” button or add the “Dashboard” menu item to an existing template. Don’t forget to assign the template to yourself and any other users as needed.
The “Timesheet Overview” widget allows you to display the target and actual hours as well as the hour differences for employees over a specific period.
In the widget-specific settings, you can define the period, such as this week, last week, or this month, etc., and apply filters for employees. When you click “Preview,” you will see how the widget will look. Any changes you make to the widget-specific settings will be applied immediately.
The Status Overview allows you to instantly see which employees are clocked in, not clocked in, or absent. This helps you quickly identify who hasn’t clocked in, allowing you to clock them in via the control report or remind them to clock in.
You can also set widget-specific settings for the Status Overview, such as team filtering or workspace filtering.
In the “Absence Requests” widget, you can view all absence requests submitted by employees and approve or reject them immediately.
In the widget-specific settings, you can apply different filters, such as displaying only certain types of absences or absences with a specific status (requested, approved, or rejected). You can also filter users by team and specify the desired time period.
In the “Project Times” widget, you can display users’ booked project time entries.
In the widget-specific settings, you can apply various filters to display only specific project time entries. Filtering options include: user, time period, entries or expenses (or both), billing status, project status and invoice status.
