In TimeTrack, you can define overtime flat rates for your employees. This means a specified amount of overtime is covered within a set period, as stipulated in the employment contract.
Example: An employee’s contract includes 10 overtime hours per month.
Overtime flat rates can be defined for each employee within their working hours model. If multiple employees share the same working hours model, it can be saved as a template and assigned to multiple employees simultaneously.
You can also create a working hours model for each employee under Data Administration > Users. In the “Overtime Caps and Flat Rates” section, you can define new rules.
For overtime flat rates, the rule “Overtime Included” applies. You specify the calculation period (daily, weekly, or monthly) and the number of included hours.
Any overtime exceeding the flat rate is considered as additional overtime and is accumulated by the employee. The included hours within the flat rate are deducted. This can be tracked in the timesheet.
TimeTrack also allows you to set up overtime caps.
An overtime cap means that a certain amount of overtime is compensated within the salary, and only a set number of overtime hours can be accumulated.
Example: Using an overtime cap, you can define how many overtime hours are compensated, while any hours exceeding that amount are recorded separately.
Overtime caps can also be defined for each employee within their working hours model. If multiple employees share the same working hours model, it can be saved as a template and assigned to multiple employees simultaneously.
You can also create a work time model for each employee under Data Administration > Users. In the “Overtime Caps and Flat Rates” section, you can define new rules.
For overtime caps, the rule “Maximum Overtime” applies. You define the calculation period (daily, weekly, or monthly) and the maximum number of hours that can be accumulated.
Any overtime exceeding the cap is deducted according to the rule. This can be tracked in the timesheet.
