TimeTrack supports TSV Trudering in the easy management of time quotas, ensures fair compensation, and promotes efficient collaboration within the club.
Götz Ziegler managed the finance department in the swimming division of TSV Trudering e.V. Founded in 1925, TSV Trudering e.V. Munich is one of the largest gymnastics and sports clubs in the eastern part of the city. The club has over 3,600 members who train across 12 different departments and divisions, making it highly diverse. Many members have dual memberships, such as being part of both the swimming and handball departments.
At TSV Trudering, we bring together young and old, connecting different generations. We aim to offer our members a sense of a modern club family, quality through well-trained and continuously educated staff, and fair and affordable membership fees. In addition, we provide young people with opportunities to develop social skills (soft skills), bridge generational gaps, and encourage children to step away from the streets and screens. In short, we integrate people.
Our goals are to preserve tradition, maintain a forward-looking approach, promote social integration, develop into a modern sports service provider, offer an attractive alternative to commercial fitness centers, and support youth, seniors, inclusion, and sports for people with disabilities.
We were looking for a time tracking system for two reasons. Firstly, on September 13, 2022, the Federal Labor Court (Bundesarbeitsgericht, BAG) ruled that employers are required to introduce a system that records the working hours of their employees.
Secondly, our swimming department experienced a significant increase in membership, which created the need for efficient time tracking for the many assistants and coaches. The previous manual recording on paper led to various issues. With 36 employees, we needed a simple and straightforward tool for recording working hours, one that allows us to monitor time quotas in real-time to comply with legal requirements.
We were looking for a German-speaking provider of a time tracking system that understands our club’s specific needs. Key criteria included data hosting, flexibility, platform-independent data entry, and avoiding third-party applications. We chose TimeTrack after being able to test the software for free, seeing our suggestions for improvement implemented, and having the CEO personally take the time to meet with us.
As a non-commercial organization, we benefit from special conditions and maintain a partnership-based relationship. TimeTrack stood out compared to other competitors due to its personal support, free trial options, and tailored solutions.
By recording working hours in real time with TimeTrack, we can efficiently and legally manage our time quotas. The risk of lost timesheets is eliminated, and the transparency of working hours is ensured. We can discuss time quotas with assistants and trainers and review schedules in a timely manner. Wage fairness is guaranteed, and the administration of the main club has a real-time overview of the hours worked.
With TimeTrack, we save time, effort, and money compared to paper-based time tracking. The application is intuitive, simple, convenient, and device-independent for assistants and trainers. We are very satisfied with the team.
The CEO and the support team have assisted us with special forms and settings. Currently, we use TimeTrack in the swimming department for the operational tracking of working hours for assistants and trainers. The price-performance ratio is definitely right for us.
The transition from manual timesheets to a digital system like TimeTrack has brought significant advantages, including transparent and legally compliant time tracking as well as flexibility in managing time quotas for assistants and trainers. Additionally, the digitalization of time tracking allows for a quick real-time overview of the hours worked and has saved the organization time and money compared to the traditional, paper-based method.
